2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Custom twin turbo by Cartek Racing, Inc. - 1016 rwhp / 960 rwtq
It took nearly 12 months to build this car. It was worth every minute of the wait. Like any race car, it's always work in progress. For the 2005 season, the car is undergoing some suspension, wheel/tire, and drivetrain changes. We hope to debut the new setup at the first Corvette Challenge Pro 8 race on April 2nd, 2005. Pro 8 Shootouts feature the 8 quickest Corvettes at each Corvette Challenge Northeast race. With each race last season, the bump spot has gotten lower and lower. The bump spot for 2005 races may very well be in high 9s. It's a pleasure to watch the meanest Corvettes converge upon Old Bridge Township Raceway Park for this event. The car will also be raced in the American Super Car Challenge which features the ultimate Corvette vs. Viper drag race series. It's a new series that pairs up the top two American muscle cars.
